Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actor since the late 1980s. Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actor. Bassett originates originally from New York New York. She was born in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett relocated with her sister to St. Petersburg Florida at five years old so that they could be near their mom as she was divorced from their father. In high school, Bassett was a spectator of John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided she would like to be an actor. When she graduated at Yale University New Haven Connecticut in the year 1980, she earned a Bachelor's Degree of African American Studies, she continued to pursue an MA (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. She met Courtney B. Vance, a fellow actress at Yale and they got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980, Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grades) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her lead roles, Ramonda, in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
